Surprise!

What is this? Last night we learnt the detail points and techniques of Shiatsu massage. Picha above is the aftermath of MsPmp. Note that the left thumb was massaged for a shorter period than the right thumb. What do those red lumps mean? Wait for the next entry! ;)

Early stage

So recently I've been reading many articles & info regarding the first trimester of pregnancy. Most experiences are the same but of course there are some incidents or difficulties one has to encounter. This might not be the case to others, but hey, there's always bumps in the road but that does not mean you won't reach to your destination, right?

Well, by now I knew that total care is super essential during the early stage. Not that I was not aware of before, but after experiencing it yourself, only then you would understand what it really means. It taught me not to do any heavy-lifts, don't be too aggressive, don't be stressed, watch out for bumps while you're driving, EAT ON TIME, and many other things should be considered BEFORE you are confirmed to be pregnant. This means, even if you haven't gone for the test, just to be on the safe side, avoid doing all those mentioned above (and few other things which should be common sense to normal people) until you are confirmed NOT PREGNANT. This is to avoid any unwanted incidents that could affect your pregnancy.

One of the not-too-rare cases is to bleed in the early pregnancy. It could due to implantation bleeding, which is not harmful but it could also lead to otherwise. The best thing to do when you experience spotting/staining (even just a little bit), just go for a checkup with your gynae and check the condition of your pregnancy. If the 'beanie' is still in there but you are still bleeding, it's sometimes called 'threatened miscarriage'. From the name itself, it sounds like just a threat but according to some, it's important to have a full bedrest at home, at least until the spotting is clear for a few days or till your gynae confirmed that your pregnancy is safe. Usually threatened miscarriage is a 50/50 chance. So better not to take any risk, just have a complete bedrest MOST IMPORTANTLY if you don't feel pain at all. Because I know it's difficult to just lie down in bed like a sick person, without actually being sick but trust me, it's all worth it.

Duphaston is a hormon replacement that might be a favourite option for some gynaes. I do not fancy any drugs, of course, but during this situation, I tend to balance out everything. After doing some investigation on that particular drug, I decided to stop consuming it especially when my own sister affirmed me that it has been discontinued in the UK for some reason. So the only 'medication' I took were just the Shuang Hor products. I took a high dosage of YungKien LingZhi, Pollen for the folic acid and nutrients, VitaKing to strengthen the muscle - avoid miscarriage, insya Allah, and Soy Protein for fetus development and growth. Alhamdulillah, after 1 week, my beanie showed tremendous improvement and I just can't wait for the first trimester to be over. Just so that I don't have to wake up feeling anxious every time. But all in all, my cravings are good. I eat like every 30 minutes and I drink every 5 minutes. No morning sickness so far and things are getting better day after day.

Miracles!

Masya Allah!

Miracles do happen! Especially in the month of Ramadhan!

Last 2 days, Laddu was found! Apparently, she was injured when Mom found her on the rooftop. Her eyesight was not so well as her left eye was swollen. After she was rescued by one of the construction workers renovating my neighbour's house, we fed her 1 bowl of food as she was so skinny and quickly sent her to the clinic .

Thank you for climbing up our rooftop!

According to the vet, Laddu has a swollen eye and ulcer in her gum. Pity Laddu. ;c She must have been suffering badly for the past 7 days. 7 days! I can't imagine her hiding on the rooftop the whole week. She was in pain and we were not there to treat her. Sorry, Laddu. Why didn't you just come home earlier?

Well, she's still at the clinic now. Might pick her up later, today. But in the end, syukur Alhamdulillah. It's a true miracle. I can't believe that Laddu is here again. Syukur, Alhamdulillah.

It's true that I was not hoping for a happy ending in the previous post. But you know what, I shouldn't have lost hope as well. Masya Allah.

Do you know what's happening?

It's raining outside. Alhamdulillah, today is the 6th day of Ramadhan. On the 3rd Ramadhan, one of my cats, Laddu did not return home. It is very unusual as she will be the one to greet us at the door, the one to say goodbye, the one to say hello by the window. Yes, she is loud. But on that day, she was nowhere to be seen. I realized there were drops of blood in front of the porch on the day she didn't come home. I felt something different. On the 2nd day she was missing, I knew that she's no longer around. I pray for her soul in peace and regret for not being able to play with her more. But what more to regret, we just didn't see it coming. Only frustrated that we don't know what's happened to her, and what was she bleeding of. Innalillahi wainnalillahi rajiun.

Last week, I conducted 2 separate OPPs with one of my students. She dragged along few friends and everything went well. The best part was of course, the Shiatsu! The first day, all 4 girls showed different symptoms. A had the worst one, I could say. She's been suffering from a bad period cramp for years, and it shows while I was doing Shiatsu on her. Unfortunately, I did not take photo of her after result, but I took one on the next day, when I did to one of her friends, who's suffering from menstruation cycle problem too.

The picture on the left shows her left arm. As you can see, there are many red spots showing that there are blockages caused by blood clots in her ovary. While on her right hand, there are more blue black bruises, indicating blockages caused by bad gas. This girl has not been having normal cycle of menstruation. She sometimes skipped a month or 2, and the cramp would be bad too. But for all cases, normally their digestive systems are not working properly, thus all the other systems are affected. Like I've mentioned in previous posts, constipation is the start of most diseases. So act now!

It is important for youngsters to understand what's going on in their own body. I too, was not aware of my body health condition when I was at a younger age, but realized that there's something need to be done when I've started to attend health talks and seminars weekly. After experiencing such improved result in my body, I start sharing with others how good it feels to be healthier than yesterday, and we should be thankful for having a good health by taking care each of the organs in our body. Remember, the best doctor for you is your own immune system! Take good care of it. Nourish it. Insya Allah, you'll be healthier tomorrow!

Do you know what's happening in your body right now?

Recovering.

Alhamdulillah. Thank God.

My body temperature was quite high 3 days ago. I started to have body-aches since morning and it got worse towards the night. Yesterday, my body temperature reduced a little, and still with minor pain. Today, I woke up with normal body temperature, and very very minimal of body-aches. I can run up and down to the stairs, turn left to right quickly and swing my arms without being painful. Only left with a slight cough.

And I hope I will sleep well like the nights before. I'm surely going to miss 'MrAsthma'. Never had the chance to say goodbye. I hope this is it.

Goodbye. With a smile. :)

In pain.

About 3 weeks ago, my mom was hospitalized as she was suspected suffering from Dengue. The early symptoms were bodyaches, very weak and tired, and high-temperature fever. Since she was in the hometown at that time, my auntie brought her to the clinic where she was immediately sent to the hospital via ambulance as her platelet reading was very low. When she was admitted, her platelet count (PC) was 46,000, where normal PC should range within 150,000 to about 400,000 per microlitre of blood. Her temperature at that time was around 40°C. She was dripped with loads of water, on both her left and right hand, immediately. At this point, she was very weak and in pain.

I was already on my way back to hometown when I got the news she was admitted. Thanks to the 2½ hours delay of the train, I arrived around 8.30pm and went straight to the hospital. Mom looked really tired. I immediately asked her to take YungKien LingZhi with Pollen. She was too weak to decline and my cousin and I stayed there till after 10pm, not being aware of the visiting hour. Mind you, she was in the HDW (High Dependancy Ward) which is under the Incentive Care Unit.

We fed her with lots of Kiwi fruits, Crab soup (known to increase platelets tremendously but her appetite was not so good), JiaHor Soy Protein with Hi-Fibre, and opened-capsules of Lingzhi poured into the CEO Café, everyday. Even though the mixture of CEO Cafe with opened capsules of LingZhi was very bitter, mom disciplined herself consuming those ingredients. On the 2nd day, her temperature has already gone down to normal. Her lowest PC was 16,000 and she was discharged on her 5th day, with PC of 79,000. We got back home on the same day she was discharged and up till now, she's still feeling a little weak, but getting better day by day. We understand that the virus still linger in the body and need some time to fully recover, with lots of rest. On the 5th day at home, BIL brought him for a quick blood test just to make sure she's doing fine. The doctor did PC and liver test on her and Alhamdulillah, the result turned out good. Her PC was 370,000 and her AST and ALT reading were slightly higher than usual but did not exceed 100, which the Doctor said was totally fine, but plenty of rest is essential.

Yesterday, exactly 1 week after my mom was brought back home, I woke up having body aches and a slight temperature on my body. Knowing that the virus has intervened my immune defense, I quickly consumed CEO Cafe, Jia Hor Soy Protein, together with Jia Hor TwinPack to develop back my immune system fast. I suffered from painful body aches throughout the day up till midnight. I woke up around 12am and felt a bit better, drank lots of water, and tried to walk around in pain to help my body heal itself. This morning, I woke up with less pain, and less heat in my body. I hope to be fully recovered soon as I need to attend my first conference in 3 days time. And Alhamdulillah, after all the vomits of phlegms and going back and forth to the toilet every hour, I did not suffer from asthma. Not even wheezing or shortness of breath. And I could sleep soundly when I felt sleepy. That's a huge relief. :)

Right now, I'm hibernating (rest, rest, and REST...) till my body is healthy again, insya Allah.

Phew.
