Congenital Nephrosis

A 2 MONTHS OLD boy was diagnosed with Congenital Nephrosis in 2000. Both kidneys were only 10% functional at that time. Urea & creatine levels were much higher than normal :

Urea level - 22.5mmol/l
Creatine level - 203.3mmol/l

Early symptoms :
1) very serious diarrhoea
2) frequent vomiting
3) poor appetite
4) weight loss
5) weak. sleep interrupted every 10mins

At this stage, doctor recommended DIALYSIS.

The parents refused to proceed with doctor's recommendation. So the boy started consuming Shuang Hor's products in May 2000.

He started with :
18 Lingzhi, 36 Pollen, 4 Soy Protein & Luchun Tea

Early reactions after taking SH products : Constipation & very very stinky stool

Positive reactions after taking SH products :
1) diarrhoea & vomiting reduced
2) constipation improved
3) appetite improved
4) weight increased (3.7kg - 9kg)

In March 2001, he went for medical checkup, Urea & Creatine level were very much improved :

Urea level - 10.2mmol/l
Creatine level - 57mmol/l

Dosage was maintained with :
2 Lingzhi, 6 Pollen, 2 Soy Protein, Luchun Tea

**Note : Other than those mentioned above, early symptoms can be discovered by observing puffiness in certain parts of the body (face/feet/hands/tummy) due to kidney failure which cause water retention.

Quick update!

Tiger is still on his medication given by MrVet and I would like to thank Ma'am R for donating a box of JiaHor Nutri-Health Tablet for Tiger. At the moment, Tiger is taking 1-2 tablets per day together with 1 capsule of his medicine by MrVet. The antibiotic tablet has finished about a week ago. He's also been given Lu Chun LingZhi Tea once in a while. My observation, some of the wounds on his body are slowly recovering. Nose is still bad but the colour is getting pinkish instead of bloody red. I will update with his photo in my next post.
Another cat of mine, Chuck, infected with a drier version of a type of fungus on his forehead. Has been treating him with Scalpcare Shampoo and applied GreenZhi on the infected area everyday. The infected skin almost dried up and 80% recovered. I am still washing his forehead with Scalpcare Shampoo and applying GreenZhi after washing it off. Will see the progress in another few more weeks.
Another male cat, Neng, just got back from mating session. He's infected with ringworm according to his groomer. He's >10-year-old so a lot of things need to be taken care of. So sad that I only realize about it recently. Will start to give him on-coat treatment tomorrow. Owh, and his stones might have came back. So am feeding him with LuChun LingZhi Tea and we'll see how it goes in few days time. Hopefully he will urinate normally without having to go to the clinic to suck out the stones. Ouch!

Sporothrix schenckii

About a month ago, a cat came around to our house. Well, of course there are many cats who came to our house to eat. But this one particular cat was no stranger to us. He has been coming to our house to eat for quite a while. But 4 weeks ago, he came with his body badly wounded. I thought he got a fight with other male cat/dog. The worst part was his nose. Almost half of it was torn. Small patches all over his body, hands and feet. I did not bother to give him treatment at that time because I thought to myself, it was pretty normal for stray cats to get caught in a fight and sooner or later the wound will heal by itself. But I was wrong. Few days back, he came to our house again. This time, I saw the wounds did not get any better at all. In fact, it got worse. The bleeding has not dried yet. All the patches were bleeding. Worst part is still the nose. I decided not to wait any second and put him in a cage. After feeding him, I applied Greenzhi toothgel to the infected area, thinking that it was just normal wound. Knowing that Greenzhi could be a little painful to be applied, I tried to calm him down first. But surprisingly, he did not over react or scratch me when applying Greenzhi on his wounds. He sort of knew that I am trying to help him or maybe he just could not stand the pain anymore and just let me do whatever with him. Only God knows. The next day, it did not get any better and I asked the vet to come over and look at the cat. Let's call the cat Tiger.

The moment MrVet looked at Tiger, he immediately knew what's wrong. He said that Tiger did not get into a fight. He has been infected with a type of fungus called Sporothrix. I was kinda shocked as I was not expecting it to be fungus infection because all this while, I thought fungus infection would be dry, and not bleeding horribly. He recommended a one-month treatment for Tiger together with antibiotic. It will all be capsule & tablet, no cream can be applied. We just started giving him the medication yesterday and MrVet said if there's improvement, it can be seen after 15days. I really hope he will get better because according to MrVet, other cats and even human could get infected. It is dangerous if the infected cat scratched/bit us. So, he said that after a month, if there's no improvement, we should decide on what to do with Tiger, either to continue with the (expensive) treatment or .... :c
For the time being, I feed him medication together with Soy Protein and Lu Chun Tea. At the moment, I can't afford to give him Yung Kien LingZhi. If any of you would like to donate, please contact me on how to purchase the stocks for him. Even Nutri-Health Tablet would help. :c

Mr Vet asked me to do some research on the disease and like always, MrWiki never failed me. Here is some info :

Sporothrix schenckii is a thermally dimorphic fungus that can be found world-wide, and is the only active species of the genus Sporothrix.

The species is present in soil, and in vital and decomposing plant material such as peat moss. Colonies grow moderately rapidly at 25°C. They are moist, leathery to velvety, and have a finely wrinkled surface. The colour is white initially and becomes cream to dark brown in time (“dirty candle-wax” colour). At 37°C, colonies are yeast-like and creamy. The colour is cream to beige. The conversion of the mould form to the yeast form is identification of Sporothrix schenckii. Infections due to Sporothrix schenckii are more common at certain geographical areas. Peru is an area of hyperendemicity for Sporothrix schenckii infections.[1] Sporothrix schenckii is the causative agent of sporotrichosis or rose-handler's disease. Sporotrichosis is a subcutaneous infection and it starts following entry of the infecting fungus through the skin via a minor injury and may affect an otherwise healthy individual. Following entry, the infection may spread via the lymphatic route (nodular lymphangitis may develop). Patients infected with Sporothrix schenckii may be misdiagnosed as pyoderma gangrenosum due to the large ulcerations observed during the course of sporotrichosis.[2]

Vertigo Reactions

In one of Shuang Hor's OPP Slide pages, there's one titled "Initial responses generally experienced after taking LingZhi". These are :

1) Improvement of subjective symptoms (eg : headaches)
2) Normal appetite
3) Normal sleep
4) Normal excretion
5) Fresh with vitality

6) Vertigo Reactions

What are Vertigo Reactions?

Vertigo Reactions = Getting Well Reactions (Detoxification)
*Vertigo Reactions are temporary signs with no cause for alarm

Examples of possible Vertigo Reactions :

1) Existing symptoms à slightly aggravated
2)
Appetite à reduce/increase craving for food
3)
Sleep à unable to sleep well
4)
Excretion à constipation or diarrhea
5)
Alertness à frequent bouts of fatigue, sleepy
6) Others à thirst, farting, urticaria (itchy on skin), etc.
**During consumption of LingZhi, there is no need to stop on-going medication or therapy (if any)

Personally, I've experienced different reactions throughout my long term of LingZhi consumption. I started with Lu Chun LingZhi Tea, and then to JiaHor LingZhi, JiaHor Nutri-Health Tablet, CEO Café up till the very amazing YungKien LingZhi. I also compliment my daily dosage with JiaHor Soy Protein, Jia Hor Hi-Fibre, and recently, I put some JiaHor Seasoning Powder to my dishes and it tastes good too. :)

To some of you, you may think that I must be earning so much that I can afford consuming all of the products at once! Well, not really. I don’t consume all at once. I keep taking LingZhi continuously every month and compliment it with other products once in a while. I consume according to my budget. And the benefits I got from the products have actually driven me to do the business so that I can consume more products with more discounts, and hopefully one day, FOC! It is possible, but definitely takes time and effort and lots, lots of patience. At the same time, I can share my knowledge to help others to improve their lifestyle to a healthy one too.

But for this post, let me just focus on my reactions I have experienced so far...
When I started taking JiaHor LingZhi few years back, only I experienced real and visible reactions. First, it was the headache¹ (OK, this is not visible ;P). For those of you who started to get this reaction, I understand if you feel like quitting because I TOO HATE HEADACHES! Very painful, felt like vomiting (and sometimes I literally did), can’t do any work, and you have that urge to bang your head on the wall. Stop! But knowing that it’s a first sign of a positive reaction, I was patient enough to bear with the pain and suck it all in, and Alhamdulillah, I got through it. Few days later, I started to have some rashes2 on my knees. I remember this happened after having few prawns for lunch.

And then I experienced having a massive discharge. Usually this type of reaction only happened to those with menstruation problem. I used to have clots during my monthly and that clots actually contribute to period-pain where most people say it is normal since we have ‘Panadol Menstrual’ selling at all 7-11 stores. But some people have light and some people suffer from bad period-pain. There are people who do not suffer any pain at all during menstruation. So ladies, face the fact that period-pain is NOT normal.

When I started consuming CEO Café 2 sachets per day, consistently, I started to have itchiness2 on my hands after 2 weeks. It continued with a slight fever and the itchiness/rashes developed throughout my whole body. I knew at that time it was one of vertigo reactions but when I couldn’t handle the rashes, I went to see the Doctor and get some cream to relieve the itchiness. Some said it was hay-fever. Doctor suspected dengue fever (because red spots started to appear on both of my hands) and did a blood test on me but the result was negative. Thank God. I continued CEO Café consumption and used VCare Shower Gel for bathing, on top of applying medicated-cream given by Doctor and also some GreenZhi paste on the rashes. Result : rashes got dried out and skin started peeling off -- To those of you who were there during my skin-change, you know how it was, right? It’s like getting back from Port Dickson after sun-bathing for a few days. My skin dropped off everywhere! Erkkhh. After couple of weeks, everything got back to normal. :D

Also after CEO Café consumption that I realized my bowel habit was getting better. I am not sure when did I start to have constipation but I never remember going to the toilet to do that ‘thing’ everyday. So, probably since I was a small kid. Hm.

More reactions happened after complimenting LingZhi intake with other products. My stool texture becoming better after consuming JiaHor Hi-Fibre. Less hairfall and dandruff since I have been using VCare Scalpcare Shampoo and having JiaHor Soy Protein for breakfast every morning. There was one time I had a tiny layer of cataract-like on my white-eye. Went to check with the Doctor and she said it was common and nothing to be afraid of. Only that after 20 years I need to undergo a surgery to remove it. Hm. What a relieving explanation. I am not blaming the doctors, though. I am sure it’s written like that somewhere in their syllabus. I just don’t like to attend surgeries, that’s all. So I rinsed my eyes with GreenZhi. And few days later that ‘thing’ in my eye was gone. Alhamdulillah.

After I have secured my first day-job, I started consuming YungKien LingZhi every month. I started with high dosage of 12 capsules per day together with about 20 capsules of YungKien Pollen and the first week made me went to the toilet not less than 10 times per day. I was pee-ing heavily and was told by more experienced people that it’s a sign of kidney-cleansing. After that, I did not experience much reaction so I reduced my consumption (due to a very tight budget) but continuously everyday.

Last 2 weeks I had a fever. It’s been a while since I experienced one. I started to get a slight temperature on Wednesday. By Friday, my fever was gone. During this period, I consumed about 6-10 JiaHor LingZhi per day. And then I had sore throat. As advised by AN, I opened up 1 capsule of JiaHor LingZhi and pour directly to my throat. Only 1/3 of the capsule went through with that method. The rest had to be mixed into my coffee. Very bitter. ;P On Sunday morning, I started to cough3 a little. Towards late in the afternoon, coughing became worse. I increase the dosage and by late evening, my JiaHor consumption was 15 capsules on that day. About couple of hours before I hit bed, my breathing was normal. I could inhale deeply and no wheezing at all. Alhamdulillah…

Long-term of LingZhi consumption can definitely prevent diseases to build-up in your body and could cure/reverse current disease you’re suffering…insya Allah. J

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1Back when I was 12 years old, I suffered from a very bad headache almost every day for about a year

2I used to have a bad allergy towards fish when I was <8 style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"> keropok ikan, fishcake, even those tiny anchovies! No-no. The only F-food I could consume at that time was Bawal Putih fish. Maybe because it’s pricey. (my high-taste preference showed at an early young age, huh ;P)
3I have a history of asthma when I was much younger. The worst asthma attach when I was 16-17 years old. EVERYTIME I have a cough, I will definitely get shortness of breath at night, wheezing. Usually I have to spend few nights sitting body straight-up on sofa, not sleeping, in my living room, where it’s a larger space compared to my bedroom so that I can get air to breathe easily.

LingZhi for Your Cats (or Pets).

I have cats. A lot of them. Short hair, Long hair, Persian, Siamese, you name it. I have (or had) all of them. I've been wanting to have a Scottish Fold! Haven't got the chance, yet. Maybe because haven't got enough fund to afford one! Haha. Any free Scottish Fold? Ehem. So. It started since 1994. My cousin gave us these two most adorable cats - Garfield and Simba. Both were male, orange, long hair, cute and playful. Garfield is the skinnier one (I know, he should be that big, fat, lazy) and Simba grew up looking fierce but he's not that really.

Then, came along Smokey, a pure persian, female, grey, very fierce but cute. She's Mom's most favourite. So that's when the family tree started. After about 15 years of becoming a very successful cat-breeder, I'm proud (or not?) to announce that to date, we have 21 cats under one roof. Yes. *Clap clap*. Through out the years, Mom has been the main person behind the scene. She's been taking care of all of them everyday, went back and forth to the clinic when one got sick, doctor for mommycats delivering babies ... She's been everything to the kitties. I only adore them when they're cute and when they grew bigger, I don't get too attached. Simply because I used to have one cat that I truly love and suddenly she died which really upset me and I never want to go through that same feeling again. Yes, I AM that emotional. Sue me.

We've had cats with leukimia, kidney disease, stone in the bladder, caesared for delivery, spayed, FIV, etc. Not that we're proud with any of these diseases / complications, but we truly understand how cats too can suffer from all the chronic / critical diseases like human do.

When I first started to become conscious of my health, one of my male cats - Junior, was having difficulty to urinate. This had also happened to another cat which I used to have. Everytime it occured, Mom would take him to the vet to suck the stones from his bladder. After that, he needs to be fed with a good (expensive) food to avoid the stones from occuring again. But after a while, we couldn't afford to feed him with that good food anymore, and the stones will re-appear and need to be sucked again. It was painful. It has to be! Imagine sucking something hard and larger from your bladder passage. Ouch!

With the simple understanding of how LingZhi can normalize our body system at that time, I boiled some Lu Chun LingZhi Tea which consists of 5% of Jia Hor LingZhi and give it to him for a few days. The first day consuming the tea, a few droplets of blood was spotted when he tried to pee. Few days later, the blood became thinner and watery. About a week after the tea consumption, he can pee freely till now. I still check his voiding habit from time to time and it seems OK now. Am very proud with his improvement. :)

Recently, I fed one of my nursing cats (yes, there are more than 1 nursing mom now) with Jia Hor Soy Protein. She likes the taste but I don't give her everyday. Maybe because I too need that Protein and can't afford (yet) to sponsor it as her daily health-food. ;P

Other than that, I also used to feed some of my sick cats with YungKien LingZhi, YungKien Pollen and Jia Hor Nutri-Health Tablet. All the products are 100% natural so there's nothing to be worried about. It's much much better than some people who give Panadol to their sick cats. Erk. Please do not give Panadol! Even if you think it's necessary, just give 1/8 of the tablet! Not that whole large one!

The lighter and easier way is to boil a pot of Lu Chun LingZhi Tea and distribute it to all the water bowls. This way, your cats will at least have something in the body to remove the toxins from the cheap cat food available in the market which contains colouring and preservatives.

Cats too need to be healthy, you know. ;P
